The challenge.
Tim and Gabby had been running Concept 2 Construction in Christchurch for years, with a strong reputation in the local market and a steady pipeline from word-of-mouth. But their website didn't match the quality of the builds they were delivering.
The old site was dated, slow, and effectively invisible in search. Leads that came in via the site were few and unqualified. They needed a website that could carry its own weight — one that would actually bring in enquiries rather than just sit there.
Our approach.
We started with a proper discovery — understanding their clients, their build philosophy, and the types of projects they wanted more of. Then we ran the existing site through our 40-Point Checklist to map every weakness.
From there: a new information architecture centred on their strongest service (custom builds), a redesigned brand presence that felt premium without being cold, and an Avada-based WordPress build engineered for speed, mobile and conversion. We wrote the copy in their voice, sorted out their DNS and email deliverability issues, and set up their Google Business Profile to match.
The result.
The new concept2construction.co.nz launched in late 2025. The retainer kicked in immediately after, covering social content, ongoing optimisation and a long-term SEO strategy. Six months in, the enquiries haven't stopped — and the quality of those enquiries has gone up significantly.
